Fall Senior Photos

A few weeks ago, I got to take a few senior pictures for my brother-in-law {that sounds way too formal for the now really tall kid I've watched grow up over the last seven years!}. It was a beautiful fall day right as the time was changing. Downtown Dublin has so many great picture places, so we spent the afternoon exploring our little town.  We're planning on doing some more in the spring when he gets his soccer stuff together, and we will highlight some of his band accomplishments too!

picture practice

Last weekend, I spent the day in Statesboro hanging out with friends and enjoying the spring day. My Statesboro family had asked me to take some family and senior pictures, and I was thrilled and honored to practice my "fancy camera" skills. Kalli is a tried and true pageant princess, so she's super comfortable in front of a camera which made my job a lot easier.

It was great practice for me, and I'm so glad to still be taking part in their special family moments!

Bridal Portraits 2

After weeks of anticipation, we should be getting our wedding pictures back this week and our video in the weeks following--I can't wait! I'm ready to see how the whole day came together, and see all my friends and family who came to celebrate.

I'm also a little anxious...all those months of planning, and it comes down to just this one day! All the prep, and I can hardly remember what I, or what any of it looked like. So today I thought I'd share just a few more of my faves from my bridal portrait session before the wedding. It's rainy and humid here {thanks to the second tropical storm in as many weeks}, so hopefully this will brighten up your day, too!

Also, be sure to head over to Facebook to like my photographer's page: Ari Merritt Photography, especially if you're in the Savannah area!

Senior Pictures

My baby brother graduates from high school next month--how crazy! Somehow, we ended up all the way in March without any Senior Pictures, so I asked my friend and Phi Mu sister Ari, of Ari Merritt Photography, to do a session with the child who is literally the hardest person to take pictures of.

Ari did a great job of capturing John's goofy personality, as well as his pretty face. Southern Tide, need a model? These pictures definitely show off her amazing skills behind the camera considering it was a dark and rainy Sunday morning! If you're in the Savannah area, give her a call, and definitely check out her Facebook page for more great pictures: Ari Merritt Photography.

Here are a few of my faves:

John has spent his life photo bombing
my pictures with his naked, poking out stomach.
So my mom returned the favor.
